The American Society of Safety Engineers are offering scholarships to those who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. This includes fields such as those specifically in occupational safety, health, and environment, industrial hygiene or occupational health nursing. As you move out from there, you might find majors like engineering (industrial, environmental, etc.), other science degrees, perhaps business.
There are a whole list of scholarships available including two CNA scholarships for $4650. There are a lot of different scholarships listed and deadline is December 1, 2009, to apply. Some of these scholarships are for those just entering college while others are for undergraduates and graduates. For more information go here.
